OK I couldn't find the old food thread so I decided to start a new one
I have a lot to say about this subject
well we had a lot of berries, grapes, oranges, and ice cream left over from my sister's b-day sleepover so I made a smoothie out of them. You blend a lot of berries, a lot of grapes, a few slices of peeled oranges, and a cup of vanilla/strawberry ice cream. It's really good.

I asked this on a diffrent thread I think but anyway what was the name of place you went to eat for her b-day?
I like really healthy food.that dosent mean I never eat anything that isant perfect but I dont eat it often.like for instance once a week I get some dark chocolate and I eat it slowly over the next few days but even then it's all natural.

I love dark chocolate. I like milk chocolate better, but too much white chocolate is too rich for me.

yesterday at the sleepover we made little pizza's on pita bread with articokes (spelling?) and olives and pesto.they were soooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!:):):):)

Sounds yummy! I love Subway, my friends and I ate there yesterday.
Because it's Easter today we ate bananas, fresh pineapple, grapes, oranges, strawberries, cannned peaches.................. it's like Heaven. :) :) :)

For easter vigil I made lemon tea jello, herb and cheese biscuits, and yellow cake, which we decorated with whipped cream and strawberries. The lemon tea jello mix was from Taiwan. It tasted best with condensed milk.
Holly-no I haven't been there. Is it good?
I love making pizzas on pita bread! artichoke, Pesto and olive pizza? That sounds amazing without the artichokes!

I take it you dont like artichokes.
my Mom made cheese cake and it was really good.
yeah its super good.actually there are liek four places to eat in it.I cant very well explain because I dont really understand it myself.its on 71 W Monroe st.

my Mom made chocolate chip cookies the other day.there really good:)
I usually do most of the baking but my Mom made them for my little brother's hockey party and she doubled the recipe so we'd have some.actually she tripled it.
we have a really good recipe and its really easy to make them.

yeah I don't like artichokes or asparagus
I love cheesecake. My parents' friend makes really good cheesecake. It's rich and cheesy.
My best friend has been making Oreo balls lately.
I'd love it if you posted the choco-chip cookie recipe. =)
Lately my favorite snack is graham crackers.
any good suggestions for combos? so far I like
graham crackers with cream cheese
graham crackers with peanut butter
graham crackers with vanilla yogurt

Here it is:
1 cup of butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate chips
set the oven to 375 then mix all the ingredients in a electric mixing machine in the order that I have them written out here.use a couple spoons and drop medium chunks on to a cookie sheet (ungreased) and bake for 9-11 min.

I have so many favorites that I can't post all of them.
What's your least favorite food?
Mine are shrimp, other seafood, underdone hamburgers, brussel sprouts, lima beans, eggplant, and some other things.

I also LOVE all types of fruit. Has anyone tryed star fruit? I haven't, but I plan to.

I love crab, Chinese food, mandarins, strawberries, milk tea, flan, and pie.
Audree- I hate asparagus too! but my parents love it as well
Oh I love star fruit! I haven't had it since I was 7 though. But I remember it tasted good. XD
Well we had a bake sale at my school. I made sugar cookies but I didn't have eggs, so I added condensed milk instead. XD XD

I love asparagus! :):):):) I haven't had star fruit.
Jaqueline- It's called a star fruit because it's yellow and in a star shape.
I made my mom brunch for mother's day. It was a pull-apart sticky bun, fruit salad (no star fruit :( ), iced coffee and scrambled eggs. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)

Speaking of food
Today I went to my friends house and made waffles
They are for Our medieval project
The first 4 wawffles we made were really bad(burnt, undercoked, overflowing) but they were really deliciousYum!

Ive made waffles.
I love cooking its soooooooooooooooooo fun.my Mom is good at cooking and I have always watched her cook so that helps.I made dinner the other ady cause my Mom and Dad went to a really expensive dinner.my Uncle paid for this really amazing chef to go to my Grandparents hosue and make a really good dinner for my Grandparents anniversary and it was $50 for each person and he paid for it.anyway at first my MOm thought she'd make something before she left for us to eat but I asked why I couldnt make dinner and she said I could.

I despise baking (and cooking), it's so nice that you girls like it! Nobody in my family enjoys baking, so no cakes (only on b-days). :(
I don't mind making breakfast sort of meals, like egg stuff and pancakes. I know how to make bread, but I hate doing it. And when it comes to meat, I am clueless.

it cost $2.50 and it works pretty well. too bad we ran out of pancake mix, but my mom bought some bisquick yesterday.

I tried the weirdest thing the other night....deep fried frog legs. It's sort of like stringy chicken, once you get past that it's a frog it's pretty good. It's up there with those tiny like pickled squids you can get at Chinese buffets.

Wow! I could never eat frog legs I would be grossed out. I wish I could be adventerous and eat cool foods like that.
food really is essential to survival as I found out this week.....I got my Wisdom teeth out and was so swollen that I could barely open my mouth to eat.....It was horrible- I love food! i'm feeling better today and actually ate normal food that wasn't soup, applesauce or yogurt.
I'm feeling better but I still look like a chipmunk ....with my huge cheeks.

I LOVE frog legs. To those that haven't tried it, it tastes like a fishier version of chicken.
The weirdest thing I ever ate was crickets (in the Philippines). I didn't like them because they taste like beans. The only reason I tried them was because my dad lied and told me they were baby shrimp.
