Today's Teens

Stephen Baldwin, a Christian actor and author, has said, "This up-and-coming generation -- the kids that are 9, 10, and 11, right up until about 19 years old right now -- they are the furthest away from God ever in our country's history," he contends. "We have got to start to attack that culture with the gospel."

This comes on the heels of the presidential election where a large portion of Obama's support came from young people. Incredibly, many in this group claim to be Evangelical Christians. While I realize that there are differences between Catholic teens and Evengelical teens in terms of the tenets of our faith, we all serve the same God and His word on life is very clear.

Do you agree with Stephen Baldwin? Are today's teens, in general, disconnected from what Christians believe?
