Because of the state of our world and particularly our country, there is a movement to encourage a 54 day Rosary Novena for our country's return to God at this election time and for peace in the world.  The Novena begins on Sept. 11th (9/11!!!!) and ends on Nov. 3rd, the day before the presidential election. The Rosary is said in petition for 27 days and then in thanksgiving (regardless of events) for 27 days. Please consider joining in this Novena.

Hallmark continues to thwart marriage by introducing 'alternative marriage' cards and adding them to their line of 'coming out' cards. However, not all stores are carrying them. Call your local store to see if they're selling theses cards.

McDonald's is refusing to stay neutral, but is actively supporting same-sex marriage and the homosexual lifestyle. As Cathoics we believe that marriage is between one man and one woman. That is why TG! magazine is asking you to support our fellow Christians, American Family Association, in their boycott of McDonald's Corporation. According to the site, the boycott is about McDonald's lack of neutrality. It is not about who they hire, who eats at their restaurants or how they treat their employees. If you go to their site www.boycottmcdonalds.com/ you will be able to sign their petition showing your support of the boycott. We believe in the sanctity of marriage. The institute of marriage was created and ordained by God as the union of one man and one woman. We must do our best to support companies that support marriage as God intende. We must let other companies know that wewill stand up for what is right and not give them our dollars to support what we know to be wrong. Please support marriage and boycott McDonald's - we can truly make a statement!
